Life Story for Russell Horace Dawe

Russell H. Dawe passed away at the home he designed and built on Feb. 23, 2018 surrounded by those who loved him.

An explorer, Rush is now free to adventure beyond where all his space bound craft have ever traveled. His many nieces and nephews, his two children Rusty and Susan, and three grandchildren, Tara, Tia, and Kyra will dearly miss him.

Rush was a kind and generous father, a WWII veteran who earned a purple heart after defending the Bridge at Remagen following the Battle of the Bulge, and a rocket engineer at JPL who helped send many far-reaching spacecraft out to explore our solar system. He was active in his church, St. Mark’s, and positively touched the lives of many.
